It's kinda hard to know which way to go specifically in your case without knowing more about the room that it is going in.

If it were me, just looking at the piece, I think I'd lean more towards the white with the antiqued worn spots on it...it just looks like its begging for that kind of treatment.

But then again, I like the idea of going black with a bit of red undertone for the worn down distressed spots.

Either way, definitely new hardware.

I really hope you'll post an update on what you do to it.Kayliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09653233031463825900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-924942076929145137.post-30583378248110838552009-11-04T16:19:16.713-06:002009-11-04T16:19:16.713-06:00I'm voting black. I love the look of it and if you normally prefer the darker wood, it might be a nice departure. I was originally looking for something like that when I ran across the one that I posted. I think I got one that will fit my dining room better, but I would've loved the drawers for silverware, napkins, etc. Will if fit in your dining room? If so, I would saw white. Is it solid wood? If not, the stain won't work so well. I always love black and that would be beautiful too, especially if it's glossy (my vote) with crystal knobs. Tell me more about the space, and I'll have some other ideas.Dayka Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05173961767682523966noreply@blogger.com
