I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but when I saw Get It Girl’s post on our recent snow storm, I know it was time…I need to invest in a good camera.

There’s a really cool one of her hubby throwing up snow -but I can’t in good conscience put up pics of another woman’s hubby…it’s a respect thang :)
So…any suggestions on a good camera that won’t break the bank?

For Christmas my husband bought me a Nikon Coolpix - I love it!! It small and wieghs hardly anything. I also love its bgi lcd screen and all the features.
The big SLR cameras - are great but pricey and are heavy! just my thoughts
I have some kind of Sony, but I can't help much because it's a point and shoot. Centsational Girl did a post the other day on the type of camera she uses, but you may also want to check a pawn shop for for good one for less.
I love my Canon SD880 I keep it in my purse - it's easy to use and not too pricey. My hubby gave me a Canon PowerShot SX20IS for Christmas it's small but bulky - takes great pictures.

Get you a NIKON! Thats all I can say. I have never loved a camera like I love this camera. Its well worth every penny...just think of what you can do with your daughter outside...
okay...I had a nikon cool pix before this one and it was by BABY! until my daughter dropped it and that was that...but any nikon is good...as long as its the one with rechargeable battery...thats very important.
I feel your pain. I need a new cam soooo bad. I've always heard Nikon cameras are really good for so long. My only draw back is the price :o(
