Lamp Dilemma

Got this from resale for $6.99 last week (it was brand new).










Thinking of spray painting to look something like this.








After this, mess...rethinking spray ever painting again.

LOVE the lamp, what a score, with the shade and all! I am giggling at the trash can.....
I love the other lamp you posted too. Maybe you could add something to the shade?

I know I'm old on this topic, but I love the lamp you had and spray paint is the way to go! I just finished spraying my second set of lamps and these came out even better than the first. I LOVE them! My suggestion is to stay away from the metallic paints, because they NEVER come out like you hope they will, but brass lamps take the paint just fine. Try using primer first, and good luck!
